The impressive gates of Lochburn Park in the mid evening summer sun. The ground itself is tight and homely. Virtually all of the spectating areas are elevated some four feet or so above the pitch, giving a very good view of the action. A covered shed runs along one touchline, the social club and health centre along the other. The other main feature is thew bank of uncovered plastic seats at one end of the ground. On the day I took these photos it was very much in use, though it seems that this season it's out of bounds due to subsiding terracing. The game finished 3-0 to Maryhill and was one of a few 'last hurrah' type performances before they succumbed to relegation from the West Region Super League Premier Division (Try saying that after three jars and a mouthful of mutton pie.....)
